How can I find out about open positions?
You may view openings (and apply) by logging into the online application system; click on Open Jobs in the top menu bar where you can view and/or click apply for any open position for which you are qualified.

May I apply for more than one position?
Certainly, you may apply for any open position for which you feel qualified.

How long is my application kept on file?
We keep your application active for one year from the date your online application is received or updated. When you provide updated information through the online system, your record is updated with that date.

If I apply for a position and another similar position occurs after I apply, will I automatically be considered for that second position?
By submitting a completed application you file may receive consideration for any opening for which you are qualified. In order to ensure that your application is considered you should apply for specific openings. To do that, login, click on Open Jobs in the top menu bar where you can view and/or click apply for any open position for which you are qualified.

Do I need to come in every time I want to apply for a position?
No. You never have to come to our offices. Everything can be done through this online application system and US Mail.  Complete your online application, mail any required documents and apply for specific openings. Documents that are mailed are scanned and electronically attached to your application. They are shredded after scanning.

When do you interview for positions that are shown as "open until filled"?
We will generally interview as soon as there are sufficient qualified candidates to create an interview pool. With hard-to-fill positions, an interview may be scheduled with only a single qualified candidate if other qualified candidates are not available.

When do you post your open positions?
We post newly opened positions as they occur, all year round.

What kind of qualifications do I need to work in your school system?
Each open job has a list of preferred and/or required qualifications for that specific position. What do I need to do to get released from my contract with my current school district employer?
This only applies to administrative and/or certificated (licensed professional) staff. If you have signed a contract with another school system, you must be released before signing a contract with our school system. Your current employer will advise you whether you will be released and under what circumstances. Any job offer from our system is conditioned upon receiving an appropriate release from your prior employer.

Are you actively recruiting minority applicants?
