Applicants
interested in employment as coaches must:
1.Complete an online application. Enter data on each tab of the online application as appropriate.
You MUST complete the Submit Application data, which requires you to respond to
background questions and release your application to Floyd County Schools. Your
application will NOT be considered if you have not completed this task.
2.Show Coaching Interest. On the Skills tab in the online application, select the activity
of coaching, select the coach position you are interested in. Add information as
to your personal participation level in that sport and/or your coaching
experience (paid or volunteer). Add a new record for each sport you are
interested in being considered for.
3.Apply for the specific position.
Most frequently coaching positions are considered along with a teaching
assignment, but from time-to-time a coaching position may be posted
individually. To view all open positions, click on the OPEN JOBS link from
within your online application (top menu bar) to view and apply for open
positions. To have your application considered, click on the word APPLY for each
open position you wish to be considered for.
4.First-Aid/CPR.
Optionally you may submit a copy of a valid First-Aid/CPR certificate via mail
to our office. One will be required if you are employed as a coach.
